Situation ①：

Root hair appear on the roots of the seedlings.

Reason: The root hairs from the roots of seeds are used by plants to absorb water and nutrients.

Solution: No need to solve, normal phenomenon.

Situation ②：

The seedlings are slender

Reason: lack of light.

Solution: Turn on the lights as soon as possible. It is recommended to turn on the light from the beginning of sowing to avoid forgetting.

The current solution: When selecting seedlings, pay attention to choosing small, sturdy and healthy seedlings.

Recommendations for existing products: Since the lights are turned on for 16 hours and the lights are turned off for 8 hours, in order to ensure that the seeds will not grow excessively after germination, it is recommended that users control the lights on their own to ensure that the lights are turned on for 24 hours. (Subsequent products can set a function that does not turn off the lights for 24 hours)

Situation ③：

The seedlings have seed husks, and the cotyledons are not stretched.

Reason: The seed husk is not broken when the seed emerges, and the remaining will affect the growth of the plant.

Solution: Keep the seeds moist when sowing.

The current solution: carefully clamp off the seed shell.

Situation ④

Seed does not germinate

Reason: The seeds are not exposed to moisture. (The substrate absorbs enough water to ensure that the seeds germinate, but the surface of the substrate is not suitable for watering, otherwise it is easy to grow moss and mildew)

The seeds themselves have problems.

The seeds are still dormant.

Solution: Keep the environment suitable and continue to wait. If it still does not germinate, re-seed.

In addition to peppers, it is recommended to observe for 15-20 days, and other plants are recommended to be observed for 10 days. If the environment does not germinate after 10 days, it is recommended to remove old seeds and re-seed.

Situation ⑤

Small holes grow hairs/hairs grow on seeds

Reason: The seeds lose their activity and do not germinate, but there are still nutrients inside the seeds, and the mold colonies in the air reproduce on the seeds;

The seeds themselves carry bacteria.

Solution: Use hygienic tweezers to sow seeds. Hands are not recommended to reduce the chance of mold reproduction.

There has been a solution: replace the substrate for reseeding. (It is OK to re-broadcast after the tweezers are clean)
